Thankyou to those parents who attended the Curriculum Evening on Monday. We hope you found it useful. A pack of information about the curriculum will be sent out over the next 2 weeks and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the Harvest Assemblies.

Good luck to all those children taking part in the first cross country race of the season on Saturday!

Next Thursday, we are holding ‘Phonics and Reading’ sessions for parents of children in Reception. A separate letter has been emailed out today with a paper copy to follow.

The PTA have organised a Bags 2 School collection. The white Bags2School bags were sent home last week but any bag can be used to donate unwanted clothing. Please leave the bags outside the village hall by 9am on Monday 14th October. Thank you for your support with this fundraising event.

A reminder that our Harvest Assemblies this year are taking place on Tuesday 15th October—infants at 9.30am and juniors at 2.30pm. Our theme this year is the Harvest of Hard Work. In the run up to these assemblies we will be collecting items for a local food bank. Tinned and dried goods are always welcome and can be placed in a box in the school hall. A list of other donation ideas will be sent out next week.
