Well done to all the children who took part in the cross country on Saturday! The final event of the season is the KS2 cross country relays on Saturday 15th March, see below and attached for further information.
On Monday, Table Tennis England and group of children from Ilkley Grammar School visited school. Children in years 3,4,5 and 6 took part in a workshop to develop their table tennis skills. They particularly enjoyed working with the IGS students.
Today has been World Book Day! The children have taken part in our annual parade and enjoyed a variety of World Book Day activities including the book swap, designing book covers and making book marks! Photographs of the wonderful costumes will be on the school website soon. Today, each child has been given a book to take home. Thankyou to ‘Imagined Things,’ a book shop on Montpellier Parade in Harrogate, which has organised sponsorship to provide these books for all the children in school.
A final reminder to parents of children in years 3, 4, 5 and 6 that the deadline for your child to apply to be an Otley Star is tomorrow—Friday 7th March. Applications via the online form are preferred. The link to the online form is on the letter sent out last week.
Our school lunch menu is changing after Easter. Information was emailed out earlier today, including the new menu and a letter about how to place school lunch orders for your child. Please make choices for each of your children using the link below or the link on the letter. Please make your choices by Monday 17th March.

We will once again be raising money for the Red Nose Day charities by holding a bake sale. Home made or shop bought cakes can be brought into school on Friday 21st March and will be sold at break times for 20p each. Any remaining cake will be sold at pick up time in the playground. **Please do not send in items containing nuts or Nutella.**
