Happy New Year! I hope you all had an enjoyable break.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation this week during the changes to school opening hours and clubs as a result of the icy conditions. Hopefully, next week school will run as normal!
Please find attached Dates for your Diary for this term and details of clubs taking place this half term.
New clubs this half term include archery, fencing, coding, puzzles and the return of storytelling club.
A few reminders for the new term;
Drop off and pick up times
• Nursery, reception, years 1 & 2—Drop off 8.30-8.45am. Pick up 3.15-3.30pm
• Years 3, 4, 5 & 6—Drop off 8.45-9.00am. Pick up 3.30-3.45pm
If you have children in both groups, please drop off at the earlier time and pick up at the later time.
All breakfast clubs and after school clubs must please be booked in advance through Parent Pay.
Breakfast club must be booked 4 days in advance (eg for Monday morning book by midnight on Thursday).
After school clubs can be booked until 2.30pm on the day. If you need help booking, please ask Mrs Bentley.
If you need to make changes to bus journeys, please email both the office (askwith@ycatschools.co.uk) and
your child’s teacher;

Unless it is raining or very cold, PE lessons will be outside. Please send in ‘outdoor’ PE kit, eg sweatshirts and
tracksuit bottoms. Items with the school logo are available from Sue Knowles (order form attached) but any
similar items from home are fine. Children in years reception to year 6 also need a change of pumps / trainers.
All children also need a water bottle and coat every day. Gloves and hats also recommended!
Finally, if you have changed your mobile phone number over Christmas, please inform the office.
