Clubs

Askwith Primary School Breakfast Club for children in Reception to Y6 is held in the school hall.  We also offer wrap-around care for our working Nursery parents.

Booking system

All breakfast clubs must be booked in advance (from 7.30am and from 8.00am).

Breakfast

• Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 8:20am. There is a healthy range of breakfast options and drinks for the children to choose:
• milk or water
• cereals (Rice Krispies, Shreddies, Hoops and cornflakes)
• fruit (bananas, satsumas and apples)
• low fat yoghurts

• We offer a variety of educational puzzles and craft activities for the children to complete during Breakfast Club.

Pricing

• Breakfast Club price per session per child:
  • If arrival is between 7:30-8am – £5
  • If arrival is between 8-8:30am – £3

Storytelling Club

In addition to our Breakfast Club, storytelling club for KS1 and KS2 runs every day from 8.30am. During this time before school, an adult will read a story to the children.

• Throughout the year, a range of providers will be delivering a variety of after school clubs.
• Our after school club, ‘Cedar Club’, runs daily from 3.30pm – 6pm for nursery age children upwards. 
• We offer a variety of educational puzzles and craft activities for the children to complete during ‘Cedar Club’. 
• The children have some healthy snack and drink options to choose from:
• low sugar squash, milk or water
• dried fruit 
• fruit (bananas, satsumas, apples)

• Sports Club is led by Premier Sports on Monday and Thursday for all children. Sports Club runs from 3.30pm – 5pm.

Throughout the year, a range of providers will be delivering a variety of after school clubs. 

The charging structure for these is detailed below.

We have a flexible charging structure to meet the needs of parents in these difficult times. 

• If collected before 4.30pm: £4.50

• If collected between 4:30 and 5.00pm: £5.50

• If collected between 5:00-6:00pm: £8.00

• Late charge collection : £1 per 10 minutes
