A reminder about the PTA Afternoon Tea Party on Monday 22nd September 3.15-4.30pm in Askwith Village Hall. Do come along to say hello, have a cuppa and a cake! This is a great way to get to know other parents if you are new to the school. Any donations of cake will be gratefully received and can be taken to the village hall from 3pm onwards.
The nasal flu vaccinations took place in school yesterday. Information about local ‘mop-up’ sessions for those that missed the vaccinations will be circulated when received.
We are greatly looking forward to holding a book fair in school from Monday 29th September to Thursday 2nd October 3.15-4pm in the school hall. A wide variety of books will be available to buy via card payments.
The book fair is being supported by Scholastic books, please click on the link below to view the books that will be available to buy.

For those wanting to make plans, the Harvest assemblies will take place on Tuesday 14th October in the school hall. The infant assembly (years Reception, 1 and 2) will take place at 9.30am and the junior assembly (years 3, 4, 5 and 6) will take place at 2.30pm. *Important—If you have not been receiving text messages this term, please inform Mrs Bentley. From the comms system, we can see that four parents are not receiving texts but we don’t know who. It is important that we have up to date phone numbers in case your child becomes ill or there is adverse weather.
