We are excited to launch our new Forest Learning Area! A letter with all the information was emailed out
yesterday. If you have not already done so, please click on the link on the letter by Monday 9am latest. The
funds raised by Miss Brierley in her recent ‘The Lap’ challenge in Windermere have covered the set up and transport costs for this year. Thank you to all who donated!
We are greatly looking forward to the Harvest assemblies on Monday 12th October. Parents of children in
Reception, years 1 and 2 are invited to be seated in the school hall for 9.30am, parents of children in years 3,
4, 5 and 6 are invited for 2.30pm. The hall will open at 9.15am and 2.15pm respectively. As space is limited,
please can the number of parents / grandparents watching be limited to two per family per performance. The
assemblies usually last no more than 30 minutes. Children and younger siblings can be taken home after the
junior assembly. Please inform Mrs Bentley if this means your children will not be getting the bus home that
day.
A reminder for parents of children in years 5 and 6 about the meeting on Monday 12th October at 3.30pm
(after the Harvest Assembly) about the Residential Trip. Attendance is highly recommended.
In addition, there will also be pre-loved school uniform sales before and after the Harvest assemblies. All
items £1. If you have items to donate, please bring clean items to the office by Thursday 8th October.
See attached Dates of your Diaries for Autumn 2, including the online parents’ evening, Infant Nativity and
the KS2 Pantomime. Please note that this year, we will not be running a creche during the KS2 Pantomime and
it will not be possible to have children / younger siblings sat with you in the audience. This is to ensure
everyone can enjoy the performance that the children will have worked so hard to prepare for. Thankyou for
your understanding.
Earlier today, information about the new menu after half term was emailed out to all families. Please read the
letter and attached information carefully and click on the link to book school lunches for your child from
Monday 2nd November and the school Christmas lunch on Tuesday 15th December. Please respond by 9am
Tuesday 13th October.
