I am pleased to announce that this week, years 5 and 6 have voted for the school ambassadors for this year, they are Lilybeth Weston and Harry Dibb.
Thank you to the PTA for organising the very popular Halloween disco last Friday. Between the refreshment sale at the harvest assemblies, and the Halloween disco, a wonderful £854.41 was raised! Many thanks to all involved.
Thank you to all those who generously donated to the collection we had for the Ilkley Food Bank, a letter of thanks is attached.
Thank you to those who have made use of the online parents’ appointments this week, we hope you found it useful. If any parents missed their appointment, please contact your child’s teacher to make arrangements for a catch up about your child.
A reminder to parents in years 3 and 4 that their swimming lessons commence on Monday 3rd November—the first day back after half term. If you have not already done so, please log into your Parent Pay account to give permission and make payments for the lessons.
Tomorrow, Tempest Photography will be in school to take individual photographs. If you have a nursery child who does not normally attend on a Friday, but you would like a photograph of them, you can bring them in for a prompt 9am photograph and then take them home.
After half term, there are lots of seasonal activities for everyone to enjoy. A letter about the KS2 Pantomime was emailed out last week to parents of children in years 3,4,5 and 6, further copy attached. Some of you may have noticed the recent article in the Wharfedale Observer about food hygiene ratings, we are pleased to report that we have been awarded a rating of ’5’, the top rating. My thanks to Antoinette, our cook, for her continuing diligence in the kitchen.
