On Monday, Table Tennis England and group of children from Ilkley Grammar School visited school. Children in years 3,4,5 and 6 took part in a workshop to develop their table tennis skills. They particularly enjoyed working with the IGS students.
Today has been World Book Day! The children have taken part in our annual parade and enjoyed a variety of World Book Day activities including the book swap, designing book covers and making book marks! Photographs of the wonderful costumes will be on the school website soon. Today, each child has been given a book to take home. Thankyou to ‘Imagined Things,’ a book shop on Montpellier Parade in Harrogate, which has organised sponsorship to provide these books for all the children in school.
A final reminder to parents of children in years 3, 4, 5 and 6 that the deadline for your child to apply to be an Otley Star is tomorrow—Friday 7th March. Applications via the online form are preferred. The link to the online form is on the letter sent out last week.
