Huge congratulations to Miss Brierley who completed her Ultra Marathon of 47 miles in 18.5 hours (overnight
and in very inclement weather!) on Saturday. She has so far raised over £1300 for outdoor learning at our

As per the text sent out on Tuesday, the cut off for booking, amending and cancelling breakfast club is now
2.30pm the day before. A reminder that the cut off for after school club is 2.30pm on the day. We encourage
all parents to use this ‘self service’ system to book and pay for clubs. Please note, clubs not cancelled by the
cut off times cannot be refunded.
It has been lovely to see the children enjoying the wide variety of extra curricular clubs that we provide. As
always, we will be offering a variety of sports clubs after school this year, see below our plan for the year.
All sports clubs end at 4.30pm. Children not collected at 4.30pm will be put into the wrap around club. These
sports clubs will be confirmed in the newsletter at the start of each half term. Please book as an afterschool
club through Parent Pay.
This afternoon we have held the ‘Meet the Teacher’ event for years 5 and 6. We hope those who were able
to attend found it useful. The dates for the other classes are below:
Y 3 & 4—Miss Revill—Friday 18th Sept @ 2.30pm Y 1 & 2—Mrs Timiney—Monday 21st Sept @ 2.30pm
Nursery & Reception—Miss Brierley—Tuesday 22nd Sept @ 2.30pm.
