Happy New Year! Welcome back! I hope you all had a restful break over Christmas.
Welcome to the new families who have joined Askwith this term. All the new children have already settled into our routines. Well done children!
Please find attached a list of event dates for this Spring Term, including dates for the online parents’ evenings at the end of this half term. Also attached are the clubs taking place at lunchtimes and after school for this half term. A reminder that breakfast club should please be booked, via Parent Pay, four days in advance. This helps us to plan staffing. See table below.
After school club can be booked (or cancelled) up until 2.30pm on the day.
Both breakfast club and after school club can be booked up to a term in advance.
As an enhanced safeguarding measure, the school gates will now be locked at 9am and reopened at 3pm. If you arrive late or need access to school during this time please phone the school office on
01943 462896.
During this spell of wintery weather, please be reminded that we will keep the school open as long as it is safe to do so. If we have to close school, you will be advised via text message by 7.00am in
the morning. Unavoidable closures during the school day will also be advised via text message. Please let us know if your mobile phone number has changed over the Christmas holiday.
For those planning holidays, please find attached a copy of the term dates for this academic year and 2026-2027. You are strongly encouraged not to take children out of school for holidays during term time.
