Next week, the Comms System that we use for sending texts and emails will be changing. This afternoon we have sent a ‘test text’ out. It will look as though it has come from phone number +44 7476 944732. Please save this as ‘Askwith texts’ in your phone book. Please note, it is not possible for you to respond to these texts as they cannot be checked.
Please continue to communicate with school via the below options:
• the phone 01943 462896,
• email askwith@ycatschools.co.uk, or
• staff are usually available to talk to at the beginning or end of the school day, or at another time by appointment
A reminder that if you child is not able to attend school because of illness, appointment or any other reason, please contact school before 9.30am.
Please be aware that we currently have a few cases of chicken pox in classes 1 and 2. Please watch out for symptoms in your own children. Unfortunately, if children do have chicken pox they cannot attend school until all the spots have scabbed over.
A reminder that children in years reception, 1 and 2 need trainers in their PE bags. Velcro fastening trainers are preferable as they stay on and so are safer when running around. Children in years 3,4,5 & 6 should also have trainers in their PE bags but can choose to have laces.
