Please find attached a further copy of the clubs that are taking place this half term. Please note, football is now on Tuesday after school and the popular Christmas Crafts club returns on Mondays after school! A further copy of Dates for your Diary for this half term is also attached.
Last half term, the children designed their own Christmas cards. The PTA have arranged for these to be made into Christmas cards for parents to buy. The order forms were sent home yesterday. If you wish to order any cards, please place your order online by Monday 11th November.
Royal British Legion Poppies and other commemorative items are on sale until Friday 8th Nov. Suggested donations: traditional poppies 50p, zip pull £1, poppy reflector £1, silicon wristband £1, snap band £1.50.
Next Friday, 15th November, is a busy day! - We will be raising funds for Children in Need by holding a cake/
tray bake /bun sale. Bought or homemade items can be brought into school in the morning and will be sold at break times and after school. Suggested donation 50p per item. If you send in home baking, please do not use nuts, peanuts or Nutella and please enclose a list of ingredients. Any left over cake will be sold after school.
Next week is also Anti-Bullying week, to raise awareness, children are invited to wear odd socks on Friday 15th November.
Finally, also on Friday 15th November, parents of children in years 3,4,5 and 6 are invited to do ‘worksharing’.
Parents may come into school between either 9.15-9.45am or 2.30-3.15pm and look at their children’s work in
their books in the school hall. If attending the afternoon session, children and any siblings may be taken home after worksharing.
Earlier today, a link was sent to all parents for an online survey to update permissions for your child. A response is please needed for every child by Wednesday 13th November.
Following advice on a recent allergens course, we also now need to ask for permission for your child to buy items from the various cake sales we hold throughout the year. This permission will need to be given if your child wishes to buy a cake on Children in Need day. See further copy of link below;
