Your content goesThankyou to all those who baked, brought or bought cakes at the bun sales on Friday for Red Nose Day. A wonderful £101.89 was raised.
Today, the judging for this year’s Design Technology Challenge has taken place. Well done to all those who entered. Photographs of the winners from each year group will be put on the website soon.
For World Water Day, the children in KS2 joined in a zoom hosted by Yorkshire Water which highlighted the importance of preserving water.
Please see attached Dates for your Diary for next term, including class trips for all children in years reception to year 6. Opportunities for parents and grandparents to visit school include worksharing, the art and creativity exhibitions, market stalls for the PTA ‘Grow a £1’ competition’, sports day and the PTA walk and barbeque.
A reminder to parents of year 6 children about important dates;
KS2 SATS ~ Monday 11th—Thursday 14th May
Leavers’ assembly for parents of year 6 ~ Thursday 16th July, 1pm
A reminder that school and nursery close at 2pm tomorrow for the Easter holidays. Please collect nursery, reception and years 1 & 2 ~ 1.50-2.00pm and years 3, 4, 5 & 6 ~ 2.00-2.10pm. If you have children in both age groups, please collect at the earlier time. Once you have collected your children, please leave the vicinity of school promptly to free up parking spaces. The buses will depart school at 2pm.
