Last Friday, the children enjoyed our Celebration of European Languages Day. The children learnt about the geography of Europe and practised the languages. Early years and KS1 learnt some French, years 3 and 4 learnt some Italian and years 5 and 6 learnt some Greek. At Askwith, all children learn French in KS2 and our younger children in EYFS and KS1 practise simple words and phrases.
