Today we have had a wonderful World Book Day! It has been lovely to see the children dressed as their favourite book characters. Throughout the day, there have been many activities happening across school including making book marks, posters and Gruffalo crumble, illustrating their own stories, reading for pleasure and book reviews. The book swap was also very successful! Photographs will be on the school website soon.
On Monday 16th March, parents of children in years 1 and 2 will have the opportunity to attend a ‘Come and Read’ session. Information will be sent out early next week.
For Red Nose Day on Friday 20th March, we will be holding a cake sale to raise money for this worthy charity. Any home made or bought cakes can be brought to the school hall in the morning and will be sold for 20p each. Any left over will be sold in the playground at the end of the day.
The judging for our annual Design Technology Challenge will take place on Thursday 26th March.
