Next week, the children in year 6 will be taking their KS2 SATs tests. The children are well prepared and are looking forward to the Askwith tradition of a continental breakfast each morning! Good luck children!
A reminder that on Tuesday 19th May, parents of children in years 5 and 6 are invited to Worksharing 2.30-3.00pm. This will be an opportunity to view their child’s school books with them in the school hall. Following that, on Thursday 21st May, parents of children in years 3 and 4 are invited to Worksharing 2.30-3.00pm. They too will have the opportunity to view their child’s school books with them in the school hall.
No need to book for worksharing, please just sign in at the school hall. Children and siblings may be taken home after worksharing. If this will result in a change to the usage of the school bus, please inform the school office.
Re the road outside school, we are working very closely with Mid Wharfedale Parish Council
regarding our road safety concerns. We will update you when we have any information.
The PTA are once again kindly helping to coordinate our involvement in the Otley Carnival Parade on Saturday 20th June. Information about how you can get involved will be sent out before half term.
